Group Procurement Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Procurement Strategy, Procurement Governance and Cost Management

   • Support the development and execution of procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
   • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, approval matrices and internal controls.
   • Analyze procurement spend, purchasing trends and supplier utilization to identify cost-saving opportunities.
   • Drive sourcing initiatives, procurement consolidation and purchasing efficiency improvements.

2. Supplier and Contract Management

   • Manage supplier qualification, evaluation, performance assessment and Approved Supplier Lists (ASL).
   • Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, commercial terms and service agreements.
   • Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery and cost competitiveness.
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.

3. Procurement Operations and Performance Management

   • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations to ensure timely sourcing of goods and services.
   • Monitor procurement cycle times, operational effectiveness and supplier service levels.
   • Review and approve procurement transactions within delegated authority.
   • Minimize supply risks, procurement delays and business disruptions.

4. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

   • Develop procurement dashboards, KPIs and management reports.
   • Track procurement savings, compliance metrics and supplier performance.
   • Identify and implement process improvement, automation and digitalization initiatives.
   • Prepare periodic procurement performance and cost-saving reports for senior management.

5. Leadership and Stakeholder Management

   • Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members to achieve business objectives.
   • Establish performance standards, accountability and operational excellence.
   • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
   • Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, transparency and service excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related fields. (Master degree is special considered)
• Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management will be an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain or related functions.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, assistant manager or managerial role.
• Experience in supplier management, sourcing, commercial negotiation and procurement operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience in manufacturing, food, construction, real estate, hospitality, retail or related industries will be an advantage.
