Group Retail Manager

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Retail Operations Management

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple automotive retail outlets to ensure consistent adherence to company policies and standards.
• Develop and implement business strategies to improve profitability and efficiency across all locations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of dealership processes to maintain compliance with industry regulations and organizational goals.

Sales and Marketing

• Drive sales performance across all outlets, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are consistently achieved or exceeded.
• Develop and oversee group-wide marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
• Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform strategies.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and support General Managers and Sales team across the group.
• Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for staff to enhance performance and morale.
• Build a high performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence.

Customer Experience

• Ensure all dealerships deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
• Implement processes to address customer feedback and resolve escalated complaints efficiently.
• Champion a customer-first culture at all levels of the organization.

Financial Management

• Monitor financial performance, including sales revenue, costs, and profitability for each dealership.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and regular performance reports for senior management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to maximize profit margins.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

• Oversee inventory levels across the group to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing overstock.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to manage vehicle and parts procurement.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Automotive Technology, or any related field. (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in automotive retail management with at least 3 years in a multi-location leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including sales processes, service operations, and inventory management.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

• Coordinates with internal departments such as Service, Sales, Procurement, and Accounting to ensure smooth parts operations, accurate inventory, and timely order fulfillment.
• Liaises with external suppliers, logistics partners, and customers regarding parts orders, deliveries, returns, and inquiries to maintain efficient supply chain and customer satisfaction.

KNOWLEDGE

• Deep understanding of automotive retail, trends, and customer behavior.
• Strong product knowledge, including EVs, hybrids, and financing options.
• Expertise in dealership operations, compliance, and financial management.
