Group Transformation Lead

C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin, Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar

C-Care Group is currently looking for an experienced Group Transformation Lead to join its Transformation & Digitalisation Office .

This strategic role will lead the Group’s Hospital Information System programme across multiple countries and sites, working with business owners, clinical teams, technology specialists, advisors and vendors. The successful candidate will guide the programme from process redesign and requirements definition through vendor selection, implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group HIS programme across scope, milestones, budget, resources, risks and benefits.
• Drive AS-IS diagnosis and Group-wide TO-BE process design before technology selection.
• Coordinate requirements definition, system architecture decisions and data-transition planning.
• Manage the RFP, vendor evaluation, commercial assessment and contracting process.
• Engage clinicians, operational teams and senior stakeholders to build alignment and adoption.
• Oversee implementation readiness, including data migration, testing, training, cutover, go-live and stabilisation.
• Establish strong programme governance and provide clear, board-ready reporting.
• Monitor risks, adoption and benefits against agreed KPIs.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, engineering, information systems, operations, project management or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years’ experience leading major cross-functional programmes, including a minimum of 5 years in healthcare operations or healthcare technology delivery .
• Proven involvement in an end-to-end HIS or EMR implementation, from requirements through go-live and hypercare.
• Strong experience in process redesign, programme governance, vendor selection, stakeholder engagement and change management.
• Experience working across multiple countries, sites or matrix organisations is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate credibly with clinicians, executives and operational teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly across C-Care countries
