The Country Club of Virginia is seeking an experienced GroupX Instructor to lead two in-house, high-intensity cross-training formats: Concept Conditioning and MetCon. This position will primarily cover early morning classes from 6:00 AM–9:00 AM.

The ideal candidate will have experience coaching on all 3 Concept 2 ergs and will have experience coaching a variety of functional movements in a high-intensity class setting.

Preferred certifications include:

• CrossFit Level 1 or Level 2
• NSCA CSCS
• Other nationally recognized fitness/coaching certifications will be considered

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Provide quality group fitness classes and other programs while promoting safety and wellness
• Study new fitness trends and provide up-to-date information/offerings to members
• Address member concerns and questions regarding class and/or the Fitness program
• Support and promote the Fitness program by referring members
• Maintain active certifications
• Cover classes as needed
• Arrive at each assigned class dressed appropriately, prepared, and on time (prior to actual class time)
• Alert Group Fitness Manager in advance with conflicts in scheduling
• Provide feedback to Group Fitness Manager regarding classes
• Attend meetings as scheduled

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
National fitness certification required.
CPR preferred but not required (CCV will provide).

CCV conducts post-offer drug tests and criminal background screenings.
