Overview

The GSOC Specialist is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents within the Global Physical Security Operations Center (GSOC). Reporting to the GSOC Assistant Manager, this role leverages security technologies to safeguard personnel and assets, ensuring a high standard of operational security. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in security systems, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities & KPIs

Incident Monitoring & Response

Monitor and analyze security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and incident management platforms, for potential threats.

Respond to security incidents, escalating per incident response protocols, achieving 100% compliance with escalation procedures.

Security Operations & Compliance

Conduct routine security system and equipment checks, escalating issues to ensure 100% functionality of GSOC security technologies.

Assist in compliance audits.

Support local and global security initiatives by providing actionable intelligence and situational awareness.

Training & Process Improvement

Participate in monthly security training sessions, maintaining 90%+ compliance in GSOC training completion rates.

Identify areas for workflow improvements, partnering with cross functional teams to drive efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in GSOC or similar security operations role.

Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring tools.

Preferred:

Certifications in security operations or incident management (e.g., ASIS APP, CPP, or equivalent). Familiarity with Indian security regulations and compliance requirements.

Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a rotating 24/7 shift environment.
