Gst Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced GST Manager with strong hands-on experience in Real Estate/Construction GST and JDA taxation. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end GST compliance, project-wise GST management, reconciliations, RCM, ITC, audits, assessments, notices, and coordination with the GST Department.

Role & responsibilities :

• Manage GST compliance for real estate, construction and JDA projects.
• Handle GST implications of Joint Development Agreements (JDA), development rights and FSI.
• Manage GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance.
• Handle RCM calculations, payment and reporting, including development rights/FSI.
• Manage and reconcile ITC and GSTR-2B with purchase records.
• Conduct monthly GST reconciliations and project-wise GST MIS.
• Handle GST notices, assessments, audits, scrutiny and departmental proceedings.
• Coordinate with GST officers, consultants, Chartered Accountants and legal advisors.
• Review GST treatment of contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and project transactions.
• Ensure proper GST documentation and identify potential tax risks, interest and penalty exposure.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Procurement, Projects and Commercial teams.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA Finance will be an advantage.
• 58 years of hands-on GST experience.
• Experience in Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Construction GST, JDA, Development Rights and FSI.
• Experience handling GST notices, assessments, audits and departmental proceedings.
• Good knowledge of GST Portal, MS Excel and ERP/Accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and communication skills.
