GTM Engineer / Founder's office (Remote)

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a GTM Engineer in the Founder's Office at LocalOps Inc. The GTM Engineer will work closely with the founder to design and execute go-to-market experiments, support customer onboarding, and translate technical product capabilities into clear value propositions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering on demos and POCs, creating technical content and sales enablement materials, and engaging directly with prospects to understand developer workflows and requirements. The role also involves analyzing user feedback and product usage data to refine messaging, improve onboarding journeys, and influence the product roadmap. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, switching between technical problem-solving and customer-facing activities.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with founder, understand market, product & positioning and test several marketing strategies including AI SEO, Traditional SEO, Content marketing, Ads etc.,
• Prioritise and carry out channel strategies consistently to attract prospects towards taking product demos or signups.
• Find & engage with new prospects over Reddit, X.com, Email and LinkedIn — research, reach out, qualify prospects for sales conversations

Qualifications

• Passionate in marketing and bringing traction
• 1-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing and driving prospects to become MQLs
• Comfort with data-driven decision making, using metrics, user feedback, and experiment results to refine GTM strategies and workflows.
• Skills in go-to-market execution, including customer discovery, messaging, positioning, and working closely with sales and product teams.
• Self driven and generally pro-active in surfacing out problems in the funnel and solving them
• Ability to use ChatGPT and Claude to learn and solve new problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in writing social posts, writing ads
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have qualifications

• Prior experience in early-stage startups, developer tools, or B2B SaaS is highly beneficial.
• Technical aptitude with minor experience in modern software development, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD, observability, incident management).
• Ability to create and deliver technical demos, proof-of-concepts, and product walkthroughs tailored to developer and engineering audiences.
• Past experience in conducting webinars or podcasts
• Past experience in driving communities in X/Discord/Slack
