Guardrail Installer with CDL

Long® Fence, the industry leader for over 80 years is seeking an experienced Guardrail Installer with a valid CDL License to join our team based out of **Ijamsville, MD.**This role is responsible for the installation of highway guardrail systems and the safe operation of heavy trucks in an active, high-traffic work zone. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in physically demanding environments and must be committed to maintaining high safety standards. 

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm
• Occasional nigh shifts required based on project needs.

**Shift Requirements:**This position may require night shift work. The night shift work is project specific and can be assigned periodically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair highway guardrail systems in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Operate commercial vehicles and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work in high-traffic environments while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Load, unload and transport materials to and from job sites.
• Perform general labor duties as needed to support project completion.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
• Experience in construction, roadway work, or guardrail installation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions.
• Capable of performing physically demanding labor for extended periods of time.

Compensation:

• Minimum pay rate is $28.00 per hour.
• Maximum pay rate is $33.00 per hour.

Pay rate will be determined based on experience.

Additional Position Requirements:

• All candidates must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, which includes Marijuana. Medical Marijuana Cards are not acceptable as a federal contractor.
