Dragonfly·Beauty is a growing nail, beauty, and wellness studio in Redondo Beach creating a new kind of salon experience centered around exceptional service, precision, beauty, wellness, and genuine care.

We are looking for a warm, polished, reliable, and highly organized Guest Experience Coordinator to join our team.

This is not just a receptionist position.

You will be one of the first and last people our guests interact with and will play an important role in creating the Dragonfly experience, supporting our team, building relationships with clients, and helping our studio grow.

What You’ll Do

• Warmly greet guests and create a welcoming, elevated experience from arrival through checkout
• Manage appointments, check ins, checkouts, rescheduling, cancellations, and rebooking
• Answer phone calls, text messages, emails, and client questions promptly and professionally
• Learn our service menu so you can confidently explain services and help guests choose the right options
• Help maintain an organized and efficient appointment schedule
• Encourage clients to rebook their next appointment before leaving
• Educate guests about memberships, packages, gift cards, retail products, home care, and available service enhancements
• Process payments accurately and maintain proper client records
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, contact information, preferences, and appointment notes
• Help maintain the client database and assist with client follow up
• Assist guests with retail products and personalized home care recommendations
• Keep the reception, retail, waiting, tea, and guest areas clean, organized, stocked, and beautiful throughout the day
• Support nail artists and other team members to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities
• Assist with studio events, promotions, and special experiences
• Occasionally take photos or short videos of services and the studio for social media
• Help identify scheduling, client experience, or operational issues and proactively work toward solutions

Sales & Client Experience

This position includes an opportunity to earn additional compensation through qualifying sales incentives.

We want someone who enjoys helping clients discover products, services, memberships, and experiences that genuinely benefit them.

This is not aggressive sales.

Our approach is based on listening to the guest, understanding what they need, educating them, and making thoughtful recommendations.

Sales opportunities may include:

Specific incentive and commission structures will be discussed during the hiring process.

• Interested in beauty, wellness, hospitality, or luxury guest experiences

Previous experience in a salon, spa, beauty business, hospitality, retail, front desk, or customer service environment is required.

Previous retail or sales experience is a strong plus.

Experience with Mangomint or another salon/spa booking platform is preferred. We will train the right person.

Schedule

Part time, approximately 20–30 hours per week

Weekend availability is a must. This position is to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday specifically as of now.

However the ideal candidate is available for a combination of:

• Weekdays
• Weekends
• Opening shifts
• Closing shifts
• Occasional holidays or special events

We are especially interested in someone who can provide reliable weekend coverage.

Compensation

$19–$21/hour depending on experience

Plus opportunity to earn additional compensation through qualifying retail, membership, package, and other designated sales.

This is a W2, non exempt employee position.

A 90 day performance and compensation review will provide an opportunity to discuss performance, expanded responsibilities, and future growth.
