Guest Experience Manager

Lakepoint Church is looking for a Guest Experience Manager who can help create a welcoming, organized, and meaningful experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

A person's first interaction with a church often shapes how connected they feel. From the moment someone arrives, they should feel welcomed, supported, and confident about where to go and what to expect.

The Guest Experience Manager will help lead the systems, people, and details that make those moments happen.

What you'll be responsible for

• Help create a welcoming and consistent experience for guests, members, and visitors
• Oversee guest experience processes before, during, and after services and events
• Coordinate with staff and volunteers to support smooth guest interactions
• Recruit, train, support, and encourage volunteer teams as applicable
• Help organize guest connection efforts and follow-up processes
• Monitor areas where visitors may need additional guidance or support
• Assist with planning and execution of church events and special programs
• Help improve communication, signage, hospitality, and overall visitor experience
• Gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve engagement
• Support teams involved in welcoming, hosting, and serving the church community
• Help ensure guests feel valued and connected from their first interaction onward

What we're looking for

• Experience in guest services, hospitality, events, customer experience, volunteer coordination, nonprofit work, or a related environment
• Warm, approachable communication style
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable leading and supporting volunteers or team members
• Able to create positive experiences for people from different backgrounds
• Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable coordinating events, schedules, and people
• Church or ministry experience is helpful, but not required

You don't have to come from a church background.

Someone who has managed hotel guest services, restaurant hospitality teams, community programs, events, retail customer experiences, nonprofit volunteers, or other people-focused environments may already have many of the skills needed for this role.

We're looking for someone who understands that great experiences are built through preparation, genuine care, and attention to the details that help people feel welcomed.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
