Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to meet hotel standards.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies, ensuring safety protocols are followed during manual handling activities.
• Support overall hotel housekeeping management by coordinating with team members to ensure timely room turnover and public area cleanliness.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and courteously, creating a positive experience for all visitors.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices, sanitation standards, and safety procedures is advantageous.
• Experience with cleaning equipment and chemical handling enhances efficiency in performing daily tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on your feet for extended periods is essential.
• Strong customer service skills are important to ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and respectful interactions.
