Guest Service Agent

Job Summary

Eddies Place Restaurant is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to provide a welcoming dining experience and support daily restaurant operations. This role assists with greeting guests, seating, order handling, guest questions, table service, cleanliness, and communication with restaurant team members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating as needed.
• Provide menus and communicate basic information about restaurant offerings.
• Answer guest questions about menu items, beverages, and general restaurant services.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately when assigned.
• Communicate special requests and dietary needs to the appropriate team members.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously when assigned.
• Check on guests during their visit and help address routine service needs.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as required.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a neat and welcoming dining environment.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, reception areas, counters, and service stations.
• Restock menus, napkins, utensils, beverages, and other guest service supplies.
• Communicate guest concerns, service issues, and special requests to supervisors.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, hosts, and other team members to support smooth service.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help maintain professional service standards and a positive guest experience.
• Handle guest belongings, restaurant equipment, and supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods and help maintain efficient operations.
• Perform other guest service and restaurant support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, guest service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain courteous and helpful when handling guest questions or concerns.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and service accuracy.
• Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and customer service standards.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on restaurant service tasks.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
