Guest Service Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service throughout their stay.
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, directions, and information about hotel facilities and services.
• Support guest check-in and check-out procedures when required.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the guest service area is clean and organized.
• Follow hotel policies, service standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; a Diploma in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Previous experience in customer service or hotel operations is an advantage; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, courteous, and customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
• Able to handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Well-groomed, responsible, and attentive to detail.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
