Guest Service Assistant - Full Time

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Assistant to join our hospitality team at Hampton By Hilton York Piccadilly. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
• Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
• Assist guests with luggage and other special requests as needed
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and effectively
• Address guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel or guest services is preferred but not essential
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service principles is desirable
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
