Guest Service Assistant (Receptionist Hotel)

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform guest check-in and check-out efficiently.
• Handle room reservations, amendments, and cancellations.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to guest enquiries promptly.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate Front Office documentation.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• CERT /DIPLOMA in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
• Experience or exposure to front office operations (hotel industry)
• Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
• Confidence using front office systems (Microsoft Office & Opera cloud)
• A team-first mindset and willing to support in porterage when required
• Flexibility across evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
