Position Summary

EVEN Hotel is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and memorable hotel experience. The ideal candidate is positive, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to exceptional guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, attentive service.
• Complete guest checkins and checkouts accurately and efficiently.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest accounts.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to guest questions.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and the local area.
• Assist guests with requests, concerns, and service recovery.
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food and Beverage, and hotel leadership.
• Monitor the front desk, lobby, and public areas to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Promote IHG One Rewards membership and recognize existing members.
• Follow hotel procedures for cash handling, creditcard transactions, guest privacy, safety, and security.
• Complete shift reports, maintain accurate records, and communicate important information to the next shift.
• Support the EVEN Hotels wellnessfocused guest experience and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, customerservice, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and helpful when resolving guest concerns.
• Basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn hotel systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine frontdesk duties.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move up to 25 pounds when needed.
