Guest Service Representative

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Representative to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries, and assisting with various front desk operations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for all visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression of the hotel.
• Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns both in person and via phone or email.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s booking system.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and directions.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to uphold safety standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality training is advantageous.
