Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and maintain a positive, energetic demeanor throughout interactions
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Assist customers with product demos, providing detailed information to enhance their shopping experience
• Upsell products and services to meet guest needs while promoting store offerings and promotions
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, attractive, and well-maintained
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, addressing questions or concerns promptly
• Conduct retail store product knowledge sessions and assist with merchandising efforts to maximize sales potential
• Manage cash drawers accurately, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and ensure proper cash register procedures are followed
• Support supervising staff during busy periods by helping oversee daily operations and maintaining high service standards
• Engage in grocery store or retail experience tasks such as inventory checks, stocking supplies, and supporting sales initiatives

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; grocery store experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with diverse customers
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader guest base effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer balancing and cash handling procedures accurately
• Experience supervising or leading small teams is a plus but not required; leadership skills are valued
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies enhances success in this role
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
