Guest Services Agent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, assisting guests with their inquiries, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various guest requests with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist in managing reservations and room assignments using hotel management software.
• Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Skills

• Proven experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing guest interactions.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
