Guest Services Assistant

Job Summary

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Guest Services Assistant to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming experience for guests. The ideal candidate will assist with guest interactions, seating coordination, service support, and maintaining an organized front-of-house environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist with seating guests and managing dining room flow.
• Answer questions about menu items, restaurant services, and dining options.
• Communicate guest requests and special needs to restaurant staff.
• Support servers and front-of-house team members during busy periods.
• Assist with reservations, waitlists, and guest information when required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming guest areas.
• Help restock menus, supplies, and front-of-house materials.
• Address basic guest concerns professionally and refer complex issues to management.
• Follow restaurant service, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
