Position Overview
The Guest Services Representative plays a key role in delivering a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all visitors at the shopping centre. As a front-line ambassador of the property, this position is responsible for assisting guests with inquiries, providing directions and information, and always ensuring a high standard of customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, and passionate about creating positive guest experiences.

This is a seasonal position to provide additional support to the Guest Services team throughout the upcoming holiday season.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
• Provide accurate information regarding stores, services, promotions, and mall amenities.
• Respond to guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
• Offer directions and support to enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Assist with lost and found inquiries and maintain proper records.
• Support mall events and promotions by providing information and assistance to guests.
• Monitor guest areas and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the guest services desk or kiosk.
• Coordinate with security, maintenance, and management teams as needed.
• Handle gift card sales and basic transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper cash handling procedures.
• Stay informed on current promotions, retailer updates, and centre events.
• Uphold company standards and contribute to a positive and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems is an asset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
