Guidewire Business Analyst _ Claim Center

Role & responsibilities

• Work as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant for Guidewire ClaimCenter projects.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide functional expertise on Guidewire ClaimCenter and insurance claims processes.
• Conduct requirement workshops and clarify business requirements with technical and functional teams.
• Perform gap analysis and impact analysis for new requirements and system enhancements.
• Support Guidewire configuration, integration, testing, UAT, and implementation activities from a functional perspective.
• Review functional deliverables and ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Support defect analysis and resolution by providing functional inputs.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning and stakeholder discussions.
• Maintain requirement traceability and assist in driving requirements through the complete project lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile

• 58 years of overall relevant experience.
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in the Insurance domain.
• Hands-on functional knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Strong understanding of P&C Insurance and claims business processes.
• Guidewire Associate Certification is mandatory.
• ClaimCenter ACE (BA) Certification is preferred.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• Experience working with business, development, QA and product teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Claim Center ACE (BA): Preferred / Good to Have
