Guidewire Technical Lead

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead to drive key software design, integration, and development initiatives within our Financial Services practice. In this hybrid role, you will lead cross-functional development efforts, guide technical decisions, and deliver core Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions for prominent insurance client initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and configuration of Guidewire PolicyCenter application modules.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and development deliverables.
• Mentor and guide engineering team members, fostering technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization to resolve complex technical challenges and optimize system performance.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Deep technical expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration.

Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and overseeing technical project deliverables.

Strong hands-on background in Java software development and system design within the Insurance domain.

Ability to work in a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) in either Hartford, CT or Hunt Valley, MD.

Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (APD).

Strong understanding of modern software engineering methodologies and Agile practices.

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
