Gutter Installer / Laborer

We're Get-R-Done Roofing, Gutters & Siding, a three generation family company based in Flint. We're hiring an experienced gutter installer to work on homes.

This is not an entry level spot. We've been doing our own gutter installs for years and we hold the work to a high standard. We're looking for someone who can meet it without us standing over him.

The work: seamless gutters, downspouts, gutter guards, cleanings, and repairs. At first you'll work alongside one of the owners Once we know you've got it, you'll take the truck and trailer and run jobs on your own. More responsibility = More pay

What we need from you:

Minimum two years of gutter installation experience. Running the machine, hanging, pitching, seaming, downspouts, guards.

Detail oriented. You care that the job looks good from the ground and holds up from the roof.

No skipped steps. Three stories up, there are things a homeowner would never notice. We want the guy who does them anyway.

Reliable. Show up when you say you will.

Comfortable with heights and outdoor work in Michigan weather.

Valid driver's license.

Pay:

$25 to $32 per hour to start, based on what you bring.

Raises tied to what you can handle on your own.

Once you're running your own jobs, per foot pay is available

1099 position.

Truck, trailer, tools, and equipment provided. Most days start at our shop in Flint.

Where this goes:

We plan to build out a gutter crew next year, and we want the person we hire now to run it. That means checking work, scheduling jobs, training new hires, and eventually less time on the ladder and more time managing. Whoever earns that seat is looking at a position that can reach $100,000 a year. If steady, well paid gutter work is all you want, that's fine too. But the door is open.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
