Responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors warmly, providing excellent communication and phone etiquette to foster a welcoming environment
• Assist members with gym equipment, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of gym areas, including workout zones, locker rooms, and reception
• Promote membership services, merchandise, and upselling opportunities to enhance member experience and revenue
• Monitor gym facilities for safety hazards or maintenance needs, reporting issues promptly
• Manage member check-ins and assist with class bookings or scheduling inquiries
• Support marketing efforts by organizing products and promotional materials around the gym space

Skills

• Strong communication skills to engage confidently with members and team members alike
• Basic math skills for handling transactions, memberships sales
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Organizational skills to keep the gym environment tidy and well-stocked at all times
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional communication with members and vendors
• Ability to upsell memberships or products in a friendly, persuasive manner
• Assist with social media content creation

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
