Gym Attendant

Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Gym Attendant to support the daily operations of our Gym, Swimming Pool, and Tennis Court facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all leisure areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service and assisting members with their fitness and recreational needs.

• Monitor the Gym, Swimming Pool, and Tennis Court to ensure they remain clean, safe, and well-presented.
• Welcome members and guests and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Assist members with the proper use of fitness equipment and promote safe exercise practices.
• Prepare facilities before opening and after closing each day.
• Monitor towel, water, and other facility supplies and report shortages when necessary.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment faults, and safety hazards promptly.
• Support the setup of leisure activities, events, and member programs.
• Ensure members comply with Club rules and health & safety procedures.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and assist during emergencies when required.
• Complete daily checklists, maintain operational records, and assist with inventory control.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Leisure Supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a gym, hotel, resort, recreation facility, or customer service environment.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
