Gym Experience Manager

What's in it for you

You will take the lead in creating a safe, welcoming and well-managed Gym experience in the Club. You will uphold high standards of service, Gym etiquette, equipment readiness and overall presentation. This role is also responsible for managing feedback and introducing relevant fitness initiatives and improvements to enhance member engagement.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within retail, hospitality, or a members' club environment.
• Has relevant fitness certification from authorised bodies such as ACSM, ACE or an equivalent accredited body.
• Has sound working knowledge of strength and cardiovascular equipment, safe exercise practice, gym risk management and basic equipment troubleshooting.
• A people-person with strong communication skills.
• Experience in managing vendors, trainers would be an added advantage.
• Prepared to work on weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to)

• Engage Members, understand their needs and ensure feedback and concerns are followed through promptly.
• Promote safe equipment use, proper exercise practices, Gym etiquette and Club policies.
• Oversee daily Gym operations, including opening/closing, cleanliness, presentation and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with Personal Trainers and internal teams to ensure smooth and effective Gym operations.
• Stay updated on fitness, wellness, technology and equipment trends, and recommend practical improvements.
• Support Gym planning, budgeting, revenue initiatives and expenditure management.
