Gym Staff / Member Experience Associate

Anytime Fitness Clearbrook – Abbotsford, BC

Anytime Fitness Clearbrook is looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable team member to join our growing gym. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and can help create a welcoming, clean, and motivating environment for our members.

This role is a mix of member service, sales, gym operations, and social media. The ideal candidate is outgoing, comfortable speaking with new people, and social-media savvy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests and provide excellent customer service
• Give gym tours to prospective members and explain memberships and services
• Assist with new member sign-ups, onboarding, and follow-ups
• Respond to phone calls, texts, emails, and membership inquiries
• Help resolve basic membership and billing questions
• Build relationships with members and help create a positive gym community
• Keep the gym, front desk, equipment, washrooms, and common areas clean and organized
• Complete regular walkthroughs to ensure equipment and facilities are in good condition
• Report equipment, maintenance, safety, or security concerns to management
• Restock cleaning supplies and other gym essentials
• Assist with promotions, member events, contests, and community initiatives
• Help generate membership leads and follow up with prospective members
• Encourage member engagement and retention
• Create and post engaging content for Instagram and other social media platforms
• Take photos and short videos/Reels of the gym, events, equipment, and promotions
• Respond professionally to social media messages and help grow our online presence
• Assist management with other day-to-day gym operations as required

• Friendly, positive, professional, and dependable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with sales and speaking to prospective members
• Social-media savvy, especially with Instagram, Stories, Reels, and short-form video
• Comfortable taking photos/videos and creating engaging content
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Organized and able to work independently
• Takes initiative and pays attention to detail
• Interest in fitness and a healthy lifestyle
• Previous gym, customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or social media experience is an asset
