Responsibilities

• Lead structured gymnastics classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring a fun yet disciplined environment
• Demonstrate proper techniques for tumbling, balance beam routines, vaulting, and floor exercises with enthusiasm and clarity
• Develop personalized coaching plans to help students improve their skills and achieve their goals
• Monitor safety protocols diligently, including the operation of AED devices and first aid procedures when necessary
• Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and clear communication to maintain an engaging class atmosphere
• Collaborate with team members to organize gymnastics events, competitions, or showcases that promote student participation
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress, safety concerns, and upcoming activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience in gymnastics coaching or instruction is highly preferred; certification in sports coaching or physical education is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work with children in a sports or educational setting with patience and enthusiasm
• Knowledge of safety procedures including AED operation, first aid, and CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Strong communication skills to effectively instruct students and engage with parents or guardians
• Background in related sports such as cheerleading, climbing, martial arts, soccer coaching, basketball, or swimming is advantageous
• Experience managing behavior and fostering teamwork among young athletes
• Ability to demonstrate skills in climbing, tumbling, balance beam routines, or other gymnastics disciplines
