Gyprocker/CEiling + wall Fixer

About the role

Precision Collective Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Gyprocker/Ceiling and Wall Fixer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on position based in all over the Perth Metro area, where you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing gyprock, plasterboard, and ceiling systems across a variety of residential projects. As a key tradesperson, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality finishes that meet our clients' exacting standards and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Install gyprock and plasterboard to walls and ceilings, ensuring accurate measurements and proper alignment

• Tape, flush, and sand plasterboard joints to achieve seamless, professional finishes with a sealer coat applied

• Repair and patch damaged gyprock and plasterboard surfaces

• Measure, cut, and fit gyprock around obstacles, openings, and architectural features

• Prepare surfaces and apply finishing coats to achieve smooth, paint-ready results

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

• Communicate effectively with project supervisors, other tradespeople, and site managers

• Transport and store materials safely on site

What we're looking for

• Must have ABN and insurances

• Must be able to supply own tools, transport, source materials, remove rubbish

• Proven experience as a Gyprocker, Ceiling Fixer, or Wall Fixer in the building trades industry

• Proficiency in installing and finishing gyprock, plasterboard,

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship

• White Card (or willingness to obtain) for construction site access

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to and from sites

• Be willing to complete inductions to both our primary contracts

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
