Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of braiding techniques tailored to clients’ preferences, including classic, box, cornrow, and intricate styles
• Provide personalised consultations to understand clients’ desired looks and offer professional advice
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
• Assist clients with colour matching and product recommendations to enhance their overall look
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
• Upsell additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or hair treatments where appropriate
• Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
• Support store management with organisational tasks as needed, including front desk duties and client record keeping
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and teamwork

Skills

• Proven experience in hair braiding techniques with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
• Knowledge of store management practices is advantageous
• Experience in barbering, eyelash extensions, or makeup application is desirable but not essential
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining professionalism
• Excellent organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain a tidy work environment
• Mentoring skills to support the development of less experienced colleagues
