Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and energetic Hair Braider to join our dynamic salon team! Duties

• Create a variety of braiding styles including traditional, box braids, cornrows, and more to meet client preferences
• Assist clients with hair extensions application and removal for added length and volume
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to salon protocols
• Use salon software to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage bookings efficiently
• Provide expert advice on hair care, color theory, and styling options to enhance client satisfaction
• Promote retail sales of hair products, accessories, and styling tools through upselling techniques
• Support front desk operations by greeting clients, managing wait times, and ensuring a smooth flow of appointments

Experience

• Proven experience in professional hair braiding and styling with a strong portfolio of work
• Knowledge of hair extensions application techniques and maintenance
• Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY or similar platforms
• Understanding of sanitation practices specific to cosmetology and barbering environments
• Ability to perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care or hair threading is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse clients and team members
• Previous experience in retail sales or upselling within a salon setting is advantageous
