Duties

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and special treatments to meet diverse client needs.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as hair coloring based on color theory and styling with precision to achieve desired looks.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and maintenance to enhance client satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Mentor junior stylists by sharing techniques, offering constructive feedback, and fostering professional growth.
• Upsell retail products and additional services through excellent client communication to increase revenue streams.
• Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, staff scheduling, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
• Strong skills in hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and sanitation practices.
• Knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, color theory, and hair treatments.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaboration.
• Experience in store management or leadership roles within a salon setting is highly preferred.
• Passion for ongoing learning about new trends, techniques, and industry best practices in cosmetology and barbering.

Pay: $23.12 - $27.84 per hour
