Halal Executive

About the role

As a Halal Executive in a bakery manufacturing setting, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards and adhere to the Halal requirements. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the overall quality and safety of the bakery products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues promptly
• Understand and stay updated on Halal certification requirements for bakery products
• Ensure that all ingredients and processes comply with Halal standards
• Coordinate with certification bodies to obtain and renew Halal certifications
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, inspections, and test results
• Prepare and update documentation related to Halal compliance and certifications
• Conduct training sessions for staff on quality control and Halal requirements
• Investigate and address customer complaints related to quality or Halal concerns

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in quality assurance within the food industry, preferably in bakery manufacturing
• Familiarity with Halal certification processes and requirements
