ALH New Plymouth is on the lookout for experienced Hammerhands to join our growing pool of construction workers for upcoming temporary work in New Plymouth and across Taranaki.
 
We have opportunities with reputable clients and are looking for reliable, hard-working people who can hit the ground running and get stuck into the work.

ABOUT THE ROLES
You could be working across a range of construction projects, assisting tradespeople and helping keep sites moving. Duties may include:

• General Hammerhand duties and site support
• Assisting carpenters and other trades
• Using hand and power tools
• Basic carpentry and construction work
• Material handling and site preparation
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General site maintenance and clean-up
• Following site health & safety requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're after people who are:

• Experienced in construction/Hammerhand work
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual and ready to work
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on labour
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow site procedures
• Motivated and keen to get stuck in
• Have your own reliable transport

A ConstructSafe, Site Safe or relevant tickets are advantageous, but experience and the right attitude are key.
