Hands on Supervisor

The Hands-On Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations while actively participating in frontline tasks alongside team members. This role combines leadership with direct involvement to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The supervisor leads by example, provides guidance, and supports the team in achieving operational goals, including ensuring shift coverage when staffing gaps occur.

Key Responsibilities:

● Supervise and coordinate daily team activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

● Actively participate in operational duties alongside staff to support workload demands

● Cover shifts or arrange coverage in the event of employee call-offs or absences

● Train, mentor, and coach employees to improve performance and skill development

● Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures

● Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment

● Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively

● Communicate goals, expectations, and feedback to team members

● Assist in scheduling, task assignments, and resource allocation

● Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required

● Collaborate with management to improve processes and productivity

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent

● Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role

● Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

● Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

● Good communication and organizational skills

● Willingness to perform physical or technical tasks as required

Work Schedule & Environment:

● Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week

● Schedule may include weekends as needed, within the standard 40-hour workweek

● Flexibility required to adjust hours and cover shifts based on operational needs or employee call-offs

● Combination of supervisory duties and physical/operational work

● May require standing, lifting, or working in various environmental conditions depending on industry

Have reliable transportation
