Job Overview

Stevens Realty LLC is seeking a skilled, reliable, and experienced independent contractor Handyman to service our residential rental properties. The ideal candidate must have their own reliable vehicle, tools, and equipment and be capable of handling a variety of home repairs and maintenance tasks independently.

We are looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates effectively, and completes assigned work orders promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform general residential repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical work within applicable licensing requirements.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Install or repair fixtures, appliances, and other household components.
• Inspect properties and identify potential maintenance concerns.
• Submit estimates for approval before beginning work.
• Complete approved work orders and provide before-and-after photos and required documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate promptly regarding job progress, materials, and any additional repairs needed.
• Follow applicable safety standards and local regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a handyman or residential maintenance contractor.
• Must own and provide a reliable vehicle for travel between properties.
• Must own and provide their own tools, power tools, and equipment needed for assigned jobs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and reliable follow-through.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Appropriate licenses and insurance for work requiring them.
• Ability to provide a completed W-9.

Compensation

Payment is based on approved estimates and completed work orders, not hourly wages. Work must be approved before repairs begin.
