About Us

Monty’s Handyman Services Orlando is a growing home services company dedicated to delivering reliable, professional handyman and remodeling services. We are building a team that takes pride in quality craftsmanship, excellent customer service, and doing the job right the first time.

We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced handyman who can independently handle a wide variety of residential repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job. As we grow, we intend to develop the right candidate into a Field Manager role, helping supervise technicians, conduct estimates, maintain quality standards, and support day-to-day field operations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform residential handyman repairs, maintenance, and light remodeling work with a high level of craftsmanship.
• Handle a variety of tasks, including drywall repair, painting, trim and finish carpentry, door and hardware installation, flooring repairs, cabinetry, tile repairs, and general home maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, determine appropriate repair solutions, and complete work efficiently and safely.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, explain work being performed, and provide a positive customer experience.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
• Document work through our company CRM, including photos, job notes, materials, and completion updates.
• Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate opportunities to management.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and assigned vehicle.
• Work with the General Contractor and management team to ensure projects meet company quality standards.
• As the company scales, assist with training new technicians, estimating, coordinating field work, and supporting quality control.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in handyman services, residential maintenance, remodeling, or a closely related trade.
• Strong, well-rounded skills across multiple areas of residential repair and improvement.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and complete jobs without constant supervision.
• Solid knowledge of construction materials, tools, repair methods, and job-site safety.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to use a smartphone and basic technology for scheduling, photos, and job documentation.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record acceptable to the company’s commercial auto insurer.
• Ability to pass applicable background and driving record checks.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and working in typical residential job-site conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Company Vehicle

A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided for authorized business use. The selected employee will be permitted to take the vehicle home overnight and will be responsible for maintaining a secure, suitable parking location at their residence or another approved location.

Employment and vehicle privileges are subject to the company’s driving standards, insurance requirements, and Company Vehicle Use Agreement. Detailed vehicle policies will be provided during onboarding.
