About the Role
Are you a jack-of-all-trades who prides yourself on high-quality work? We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and self-sufficient Handyman to join our growing team in Tampa. If you already know your way around a toolbox, have a sharp eye for detail, and want a flexible schedule with great pay, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do (Typical Projects)
No two days are exactly the same here. While we handle standard repairs, our projects cover a massive variety of unique tasks—if a client needs it fixed, built, or installed, we step up to do it.
Typical projects include, but are absolutely not limited to:
Minor Electrical & Plumbing: Swapping out outlets/switches, replacing light fixtures, installing ceiling fans, and fixing leaky faucets or running toilets.
Carpentry & Woodworking: Installing trim, baseboards, crown molding, and repairing cabinetry.
Doors & Windows: Installing interior/exterior doors, replacing hardware/locks, and repairing window screens.
Drywall & Painting: Patching holes, texturing, and performing interior/exterior touch-ups or full-room painting.
Exterior Maintenance: Fixing gates and fences, pressure washing, and minor deck repairs.
General Assemblies & Installations: Hanging flat-screen TVs, mounting shelves, and assembling furniture.
And So Much More: From odd jobs and unique troubleshooting to custom property upgrades, you will tackle a wide, ever-changing variety of miscellaneous tasks that keep the job interesting.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Experience: You are already "handy" and know exactly how to execute a variety of home repairs safely and efficiently.
Tools of the Trade: You must own a reliable set of basic hand and power tools required to get the job done.
Reliable Transportation: A dependable truck, van, or utility vehicle is required to travel to job sites across the Tampa area.
Professionalism: Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a clean, respectful appearance when working with clients.
Problem Solver: Ability to assess a problem on-site and figure out the best, most efficient way to fix it.
Why Work With Us?
Competitive Pay: $25 to $40 an hour depending on your skill level and efficiency.
Flexibility: Perfect for supplementing your current workload or transitioning back into the field.
Growth Potential: We are expanding rapidly! Excellent part-time performance can quickly lead to a stable, full-time position.
