Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
• Perform repairs using power tools and manual techniques, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and mechanical fixes
• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to execute projects accurately
• Assist with erosion control measures and implement safety regulations in construction or repair zones
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while following OSHA safety standards and manual handling protocols
• Repair or replace damaged fixtures, equipment, or structural elements to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety regulations by using respiratory protection, climbing safely, and adhering to industrial construction practices

Skills

• Strong ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance across various systems
• Familiarity with erosion control techniques and implementing OSHA safety standards in construction environments
• Knowledge of workplace safety protocols including respiratory protection, climbing safety, heavy lifting procedures, and manual handling techniques
• Experience in industrial construction environments with a focus on safety regulations and hazard mitigation
• Ability to operate power tools effectively while maintaining high safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans

Pay is competitive and based on experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
