Job Title: Handyman

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, installation and repair tasks at residential or commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install shelves, furniture and other fixtures.
• Hang picture frames and mount televisions safely.
• Install and repair fly nets.
• Carry out minor repairs to doors and windows.
• Install blinds and curtain rods.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance, such as replacing light fixtures, bulbs, switches and socket outlets.
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaking taps, clogged drains and small pipe issues.
• Perform basic painting and wall maintenance.
• Patch minor holes and carry out touch-up painting on walls and baseboards.
• Inspect minor maintenance issues and complete repairs where appropriate.
• Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Coordinate with team members and clients regarding maintenance requirements.
• Complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant handyman or general maintenance experience.
• Practical experience in furniture assembly, installations and general repairs.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Experience with painting and minor wall repairs.
• Ability to use common hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Good English communication skills, including the ability to speak, understand and read/write basic work-related instructions.
• Good attention to detail and a responsible approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to handle different types of maintenance tasks.

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
