Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Handyman to join our dynamic team! Duties

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks across multiple areas, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general building upkeep
• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute projects
• Conduct erosion control measures to prevent soil degradation and ensure environmental compliance
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for various construction or repair projects
• Implement workplace safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
• Assist with equipment repair, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing routine inspections
• Climb ladders or scaffolding as needed for high-reach tasks or building inspections
• Handle manual lifting of materials and equipment in a safe manner following heavy lifting guidelines
• Follow respiratory protection procedures when working in dusty or hazardous environments
• Support industrial construction projects by adhering to safety regulations and implementing erosion control strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial construction or maintenance roles with a strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and implementation of safety regulations on-site
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights
• Knowledge of erosion control techniques and environmental safety practices
• Experience working with power tools, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment in a safe manner
• Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols including respiratory protection measures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in interpreting technical documents

Pay: $24.79 - $29.86 per hour
