Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving residential or commercial properties to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a broad skill set to deliver high-quality results. The Maintenance Person position is essential for maintaining the integrity of properties and providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of properties to identify issues early
• Install fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve repair issues efficiently and safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes

Experience

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting tools and materials
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with HVAC systems, tile installation, caulking or painting techniques

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
