Handyman Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking handyman to assist with a variety of general maintenance and repair projects. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn new skills through paid training.

Responsibilities

• Painting and touch-up work
• Drywall repair and installation
• Basic electrical repairs
• Basic plumbing repairs
• General maintenance and repairs
• Painting and interior/exterior touch-ups
• Drywall installation and repair
• Carpentry, including crown molding, trim, and general repairs
• Tile installation and repair
• Plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
• Electrical repairs and fixture replacement
• General home maintenance and repairs
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Work from ladders and safely access elevated areas
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete assigned work in a timely and professional manner
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
• Able to safely use a ladder
• Able to read and write
• Reliable and dependable
• Willingness to learn and participate in paid training
• Knowledge of how to read a tape measure
• Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or repair experience
• Must be able to pass applicable background screening; no violent or sex-related felony convictions

Schedule & Training

This position starts part-time while paid training is completed. Upon successful completion of training, additional hours and/or expanded responsibilities may be available.

Compensation: $20-$30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

Location: Jobs are located in the greater Cincinnati area
