Duties

• Must be highly experienced in drywall installation and finishing
• Must reside within 20 miles of central Colorado Springs
• 3+ years of experience as a paid professional handyman
• Perform general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting to address maintenance requests efficiently
• Use tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and specialized equipment like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately
• Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards or areas needing repair before they become major problems
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and parts replaced for each project
• Collaborate with clients or property managers to understand specific needs and provide clear solutions
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes to guarantee safe environments
• Manage time effectively to prioritize urgent repairs while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Skills

• Proven experience in handyman services or related maintenance roles with a broad skill set across multiple trades
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess issues and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills to explain repairs clearly and coordinate with clients or team members
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics when necessary
