About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Handyman to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, tackling a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, and keeping projects moving.

You’ll work alongside our handyman team on a range of tasks across residential projects and properties. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, works safely, and understands that the little things matter just as much as the big ones.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general repairs, maintenance, and finish work across residential projects and properties.
• Complete punch-list items and address small repairs to help bring projects across the finish line.
• Assist with carpentry, installations, adjustments, and other hands-on tasks as needed.
• Identify problems, troubleshoot solutions, and communicate when additional support or materials are needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Care for tools, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with the construction team to prioritize tasks and keep work moving efficiently.
• Represent Hay Runner professionally when working in clients’ homes and on job sites.
• Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and deliver quality results.

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Portland, Maine, and surrounding project sites
Pay: Competitive; based on experience

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
