Commercial Maintenance | Permanent Position | Sign-On Bonus Available

About the Position

The Service Syndicates is expanding our field operations and seeking dependable, experienced professionals to join our commercial facilities service team.

We provide maintenance and repair services exclusively for commercial properties. Our service locations may include retail stores, restaurants, offices, and other commercial facilities.

We do not perform residential work.

This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently, follows instructions, communicates consistently with Dispatch, and understands the professional standards required when servicing commercial clients.

Services You May Perform

• Drywall repair and patching
• Painting and touch-ups
• Door and hardware repairs
• Locks and door closers
• Ceiling tile replacement
• Carpentry and wood repairs
• Cabinet repairs
• Shelving and fixture installation
• Furniture and equipment assembly
• Faucet and sink repairs
• Toilet repairs and replacement
• Drain cleaning
• Leak repairs
• Plumbing fixture replacement
• Preventive maintenance
• General commercial facility repairs

No electrical services are performed in this position.

What We’re Looking For

Successful candidates should have previous experience in one or more of the following areas:

Commercial Maintenance • Facility Maintenance • Handyman Services • Plumbing • Carpentry • Property Maintenance • General Repairs • Multi-Trade Maintenance

Candidates should also have:

• Reliable transportation
• Previous hands-on maintenance or repair experience
• Ability to travel throughout an assigned service territory
• Ability to work independently
• Smartphone access for work-order communication
• Ability to provide clear before-and-after photographs
• Strong communication skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Ability to follow written scopes of work
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to quality workmanship

Working With Our Dispatch Department

Our field professionals work directly with our Dispatch Department throughout each assignment.

You will be expected to:

• Confirm assigned work orders
• Provide an accurate ETA
• Confirm arrival at the service location
• Communicate changes or problems immediately
• Follow the authorized scope of work
• Obtain approval before performing work outside the assigned scope
• Provide status updates when requested
• Submit required photographs and documentation
• Confirm completion before leaving the assignment

Reliable communication is an essential requirement of this position.
