Handyman/Laborer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Handyman to join our team, focusing on delivering exceptional quality workmanship and a superior customer experience. The ideal candidate will be professional, punctual, detail-oriented, and possess their own reliable transportation and essential tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in residential and/or commercial settings, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Arrive at job sites on time and fully prepared, managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines and minimize client inconvenience.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients to understand their needs, discuss the scope of work, provide cost estimates, and ensure satisfaction with the outcome.
• Diagnose problems, troubleshoot issues, and provide appropriate solutions for various repairs (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring all debris is removed and the premises are left tidy after job completion.
• Manage and organize necessary materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Complete daily time sheets, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar skilled trades role (minimum of 5 years experience recommended).
• Strong general repair skills and working knowledge of various trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
• Must own and be proficient with a wide variety of basic hand and power tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs, standing for long periods, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
