Handyperson

Prompcorp is a leading Australian Facilities Services business incorporating a full suite of Asset and Facility management functions. Our business operates at a National level across both Australia and New Zealand.

Due to the rapid growth of the business, Prompcorp has a need for an experienced Full-time Handyperson to join our team to cover the following areas: Horsham, and Hamilton region.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Perform minor building repairs and general site maintenance, including upkeep of grounds.
• Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with operational and quality standards.
• Represent Prompcorp professionally, demonstrating responsiveness and commitment to client success and continuous improvement.
• Understand facility operational requirements and support proactive and reactive maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Apply quality control techniques and conduct accurate measurements and calculations.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in all interactions.
• Collaborate with and support team members as needed.
• Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, including Work Health and Safety (WHS).
• Promptly identify, report, and address hazards, accidents, or injuries in accordance with Company and site procedures.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Company Policies and Procedures by employees, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Work safely and responsibly, ensuring no harm to self or others, and respect Company property.
• Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately, reporting any defects or damage.
• Follow lawful instructions from supervisors or authorised personnel.
• Only perform tasks for which you are trained, competent, certified, or under supervision.
• Promote and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out duties in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Forklift license preferable
• Excellent attention to details
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team and autonomously
• A confident, supportive team member with very good written and verbal communication skills
• Satisfactory National Police Check and Work with Children Check required
• Previous experience in building/ facilities is preferable
