Bring your practical skills, curiosity and care to Andaz Gold Coast.

We’re looking for a Handyperson to help keep our hotel looking its best and running smoothly. You’ll work across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, taking pride in the details that shape every guest and colleague experience.

In this role, you will:

• Complete general repairs and maintenance across the hotel
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional way
• Assist with painting, patching, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks
• Inspect rooms, public areas and facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Support preventative maintenance programs
• Work with external contractors when required
• Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
• Keep maintenance areas, tools and equipment organised and secure
• Support the Engineering team with projects and daily priorities

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance, facilities or hotel role
• Practical knowledge across a range of general maintenance tasks
• A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
• Good communication and time-management skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional, reliable and solutions-focused attitude
• Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• You must already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
